I appreciated this whole story, but Cricket was the cherry on top! My husband and I are cat lovers and my dad has an extensive cat rescue. And when I’ve earned a cat’s trust I feel like I’ve won the lotto or something!
I know. Cats are such great manipulators - they make you feel privileged just because they noticed you. I wish I could walk or sit down with half the dignity and grace of my cat :) Or to be able to radiate beauty with so much hair in my ears :)
